Get away from it all with SunReel
At SunReel, all boat trips and charters around Gozo and Comino are private and customised. Our boats can handle groups of up to 8 or 20 persons, but we also cater for clients who want to charter our boats for smaller or more intimate parties. Once you charter our boat, it is up to you who will join your group. We can even take out a person to follow their whim and adventure!
While the busy seasons are spring, summer and early autumn, SunReel organises its Comino, Gozo and Malta boat tours during all seasons until weather permits. December, January and February are usually low seasons. However, boat tours around the islands are still operated as long as the weather is fine.

What’s Included
- A tour for up to 8/ 20 persons according to the chosen boat* and according to the agreed duration.
- Facilities* onboard include an ice box to keep food and refreshments cool, a shower, music, snorkelling equipment, floaties, a standup paddle board, and USB charging points.
- There is no fuel surcharge associated with the boat services.
- Each tour is fully accompanied by our local skippers, who provide guidance and explanation about the tour, the route and each spot visited.
*The bigger boat has more facilities, including onboard toilets. Refer further below for more information about the boats.
Important Information
- Passengers should bring their selection of food and drinks, sunscreen, towels, camera and any other belongings they might need during the duration of the boat trip.
- Weapons, sharp objects and dangerous items are not allowed on the vessels.
- Minors cannot attend unaccompanied by guardian/parent.
- Passengers are reminded that boat tours are water-based activities and should consider adequate measures to safeguard their mobile devices against possible water damage.

Small Boat
- Handles groups of up to 8 persons. The boat is geared to take up a maximum of 11 people. Still, SunReel opts to provide this service for groups of up to eight persons to ensure ample comfortable space for the whole group.
- Shaded area on the boat
- Chilled cooler / icebox to keep your food and drinks fresh
- Outdoor shower for rinsing off salt water
- USB charging points on the boat
- Music via Bluetooth stereo (as requested by client/group)
- Snorkeling equipment, floaties and standup paddble board
- Standard safety equipment includes lifejackets, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid box.
Large Boat
- 30-foot open boat, handling groups of up to 20 persons. This boat is geared to take up a maximum of 24 people. Still, SunReel chooses to use this boat for parties of up to 20 persons to ensure ample comfortable space for the whole group.
- Ideal for larger parties, whole families and parties at sea, such as birthday parties.
